The study of architecture is the study of human environment, made concrete in the form of living spaces.  The architectural environment is more than merely a practical construction, it also gives shape to daily life : it expresses the characteristics of people and their environment.  Architecture represents human culture.

In this context Sint-Lucas Architectuur trains architects, interior architects, interior designers and urban planners.  The faculty developed an international program in English for incoming students.

Sint-Lucas School of Architecture has two campuses, in Brussels (since 1887) and Ghent (since 1862) and is partner in Association Catholic University Leuven. They are the oldest institutes for architecture in the country.  Their singularity is from way back situated in the context of arts and practices.
